A serious rose for year-round drinking and accompaniment of food. Think Cerusolo. 100% Blaufrankisch Rose from their family's estate vineyard of Ried Ratschen. Ratschen is a cool eastern facing site of sand, gravel, loam and iron deposits in the Eisenberg. A short maceration of the grapes gives more structure to the wine, a backbone of crunchy acidity and high toned red fruits make this a very versatile wine.
