The wine "Hausmarke Rot" produced by the Moric winery is a refined expression of traditional winemaking art, combined with the producer's innovative vision of wine. Hausmarke Rot is a blend of Blaufrankisch, Rotburger and Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir). It comes across as Blaufrankisch with a more playful side, fresh and agile, full of notes of currant and juicy red cherry. There is a backbone of earth and spice that does not dominate but merely supports this easy-to-drink introduction to the finessed and wonderful wines of Roland Velich. This wine is a “Solera Blend” of the 2021, 2020, 2019, and smaller batches from the ‘18 to ‘14 vintages. The main idea behind this was to develop a wine that reflects Moric’s idea of slow aging. No fining or filtering and only small quantities of So2 added. Vegan as well.
