This story begins in 1934, in the province of Verona when Augusto Dal Cero bought a very special piece of land. Their vineyards surround the ancient Corte Giacobbe, in the hills area of Roncà, on the slopes of two extinct volcanoes, Calvarina and Crocetta, east of Soave, in the Veneto. Today the winery is run by his three grandchildren Francesca, Davide and Nico. The wine macerates for about twenty-four hours and then spends three months in stainless steel vats, with bâtonnage (stirring) on its noble lees twice a week. It then spends a couple of months in bottle. The wine shows fragrant fruit and floral aromas on a crisp palate.
