The 2022er Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett was made from a selection of all parcels from 10 to 100-year-old vines at 78° Oechsle and was fermented and aged in stainless-steel tank down to off-dry levels of residual sugar (33 g/l). It offers a superbly fresh and herbal nose of spices, rosemary, thyme, lavender, smoke, vineyard peach, and Conference pear. The wine is elegant and well-balanced on the finely juicy and zesty palate. The finish proves clean, pure, and animating. This is a refreshing, complex, and light weighted Kabinett to enjoy by the bottle at only 8% alcohol.
