Grenache Scaggs Vineyard Newfound Wines 2019
Grenache planted in Napa Valley is a rarity as most available vineyards were planted with Cabernet Sauvignon. One exception is a vineyard perched high up on Mt. Veeder, planted with Grenache more than 20 years ago by Boz Scaggs. This is a much lighter style of Grenache with fresh fruit, herbaceous and a delightful lift of mountain fruit. A very elegant expression.
