Under the simple number 904, which evokes the merger of La Rioja Alta with Bodegas Ardanza in 1904, the winery brings one of their two Gran Reserva Top wines to Divine. The 2015 vintage is the first to bear the addition "Selección Especial". Vineyards with Tempranillo vines over 60 years old are used for this cuvée, 90% is Tempranillo and 10% Graciano. Mainly used barriques are used, in which the wine is matured for 4 years, the aroma of new wood is not desirable. 2015 was a very good vintage that met the quality standards of a 904 Gran Reserva. Incidentally, there was no 904 from 2012 to 2014. A classic Rioja with excitement, complexity and great aging potential. A great Rioja without a doubt.
