This Biodynamic, Skin Contact Orange Wine is a beautifully expressive Scheurebe that is highly aromatic with a nose full of jasmine, chamomile and bergamot/Earl Grey Tea notes. Dry on the palate with notes of passionfruit, leaving you with a mineral finish. Very unctuous, herbal and high-toned. This is 100% Scheurebe with 3 weeks of skin contact. Katharina Wechsler’s enviable Rheinhessen vineyard holdings are in what may be today’s most famous dry Riesling area (mostly thanks to local luminaries, Klaus-Peter Keller, and Philipp Wittman). Her vineyards are also certified organic as of their 2021 harvest and she began to implement biodynamic practices in 2020.
